Quayside Shortlisted In National Business Awards
Quayside Clothing Ltd is delighted to announce it has been selected as a finalist for the Small to Medium Business of the year in the prestigious National Business Awards - North of England and Northern Ireland Regional Programme. Managing Director Michael Conway has also been nominated as Entrepreneur of the year.

New & improved Clothes2Order.com
Quayside Group’s customised clothing site Clothes2order has been re-branded and repackaged. The previous site has made way to a stylish new design and the most user friendly interface possible. The new site has been remodelled around customer feedback and as such it is now easier than ever to order personalised clothing.

The main changes include a new look that makes the site easier and more intuitive to navigate. The aesthetic changes are mirrored by an improvement in the speed of the website, with product navigation revamped to make it easier for customers to find the best products for the customisation they require. Searches are now refined by size, colour and brand. The order process has also been greatly simplified, making it easy to upload and apply customisations.

We’re proud to be a customer led business, so we’d like to say a big thank you to all our customers whose feedback has contributed to the new design.

Quayside to Distribute Mantis World Range
Quayside, the fast growing Manchester based clothing distributor has added Mantis World to its rapidly increasing list of brands. Quayside currently supplies Saf, JHK, Fanshirt, Stedman and Fruit of the Loom through its trade only distribution website www.tradetag.co.co.uk. Fanshirt Appoints Quayside as UK Distributor.
The Quayside Group have been appointed distributor for the Fanshirt brand.

The Manchester based Quayside Group are sole UK distributor of the JHK clothing brand and recently bought the organic clothing brand Saf.

Michael Conway, Managing Director of Quayside says “ Fanshirt has a young fashion look at very competitive prices which has been very popular with our customers. The styling, fabrics and colours are very different to mainstream promotional products and it fits well into our product range. We will be stocking Fanshirt products for next day delivery”

The Fanshirt Brand, which is offspring to a 50 year old clothing enterprise, is now one of the most successful promo-fashion labels in Europe, with offices in London and Paris and distributors in France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Ireland, and Greece.

Quayside Buys Leading Ethical Clothing Company

The Quayside Group has purchased the assets of SAF UK ltd, one of the UK’s leading supplier of ethical and organic clothing.

SAF offers quality organic clothing which is traceable back to the farm where it is produced and contributes directly to the sustainable development of the farming communities.

SAF supplies to a number of leading screen printers, promotional companies and private labels. End users for SAF products included Greenpeace and Timberland.

Michael Conway, Managing Director of Quayside commented “Organic clothing is great for the environment and great for the customer. It is a rapidly expanding market and we intend to make SAF the leading organic clothing brand in the UK. We will improve customer service by increasing stock levels and ensuring faster delivery times”.

Quayside Group Exhibiting at Printwear and Promotion Exhibition
The Printwear & Promotion exhition is the only trade show to the cater exclusively for the UK’s garment decoration industry. The worlds leading brands available through UK based distributors will be on display together with manufacturers and distributors of embroidery machines and accessories, screen printing and digital printing technology.

Quayside Office Move Improves Customer Service

The Quayside Group moved their office and warehouses on July 2nd from their Manchester City centre location to a combined office and distribution centre. The new location is already benefiting customers. According to Quayside Director Debra Hutchings "We have been able to increase our stock levels by 30%. Having more goods here ready to dispatch has greatly improved the speed at which we are able to get orders out. Customers are already noticing the difference”. The new offices and distribution centre offers a improvements for customers as well a better working environment for employees.

We have now added online tracking for orders weighing over 1.25 kilos*.

By integrating with our couriers systems customers can see the location of their order.

Once an order has been dispatched, customers can log into their accounts and check the status of their order or click in the link sent with the dispatch notification e-mail.

Faster delivery on orders paid by cheque
We are making delivery faster on orders paid by cheque. Normally we would have to wait up to 10 days for cheques to clear.

The latest instant cheque clearance technology has now been added to our payment system. Cheques are now processed on receipt. The majority receive immediate clearance reducing the delivery times on orders paid by cheque by 7 days.

Sporting Treble For Quayside
Quayside Group have announced they are supplying a trio of top class British sports clubs.

Premiership football club Fulham, rugby union’s London Wasps and rugby league’s Hull Kingston Rovers have joined Quaysides client list.

Products supplied to the clubs include bonded fleece jackets, sweatshirts, baseball caps and embroidered t-shirts which are on sale to fans.

Quayside Open Sri Lanka Office
Growth in business has led Quayside to open a production office based in Colombo , Sri Lanka.

Vinoj Herath has joined Quayside to manage production in Sri Lanka. He was previously with A.Baur & Company for 15 years where he was responsible for clothing manufacture for many prestigious accounts including Marks and Spencers, Coats Viyella and The Quayside Group.

Brightview Account for Quayside
Quayside has won a major account to provide promotional items for Brightview one of the major internet service providers in the UK.


Brightview owns many ISPs including callnet, freenetname, global internet and Totalise and runs call centres. Its aim was to generate a sense of unity within the call centres to help build corporate identity within a multi-branded culture. Quayside worked with Brightview to achieve this to provide cost-effective items offering brand affinity, comfort and style.
