The Quayside Group of Companies was formed in 1995 by two industry professionals Managing Director Michael Conway and Technical Director Debra Hutchings.

With exceptional core skills in:

• Off-shore garment manufacture
• Quality Management
• Importation of clothing
• Distribution

The business was soon a leading supplier of clothing to high street retailers including Boots, Mothercare, Next, C&A and House of Fraser. The Quayside Group expanded its manufacturing capabilities into sportswear. Well known sports brands, Premiership football and rugby clubs were soon exploiting the Quayside groups expertise in clothing and sportswear to assist in the success of their own retail operations.

In 2002 the potential of the internet was clear to the management and our first web platform was established. Since then our web operations have been expanded considerably. The Quayside group is now a multi-brand, multi-channel clothing distributor supplying both the business to business and business to consumer markets. Our web presence covers Wholesale and Retail operations. We also specialise in custom printed and embroidered products for corporate, promotional and workwear end uses.

During 2005 the business expanded dramatically and key operations including Web Design and Development were brought in house. In 2006 to allow the continued expansion of the business, a purpose built office and distribution centre was acquired in Manchester’s Trafford Park.

By 2008 The Quayside Group's flagship site was named by Hitwise as the most visited website for wholesale clothing on the internet and is one of the most successful online wholesale companies around.
